Abby
Abby (initially known as "Little One” before adopting its current name) is an NPC and deuteragonist of Wuthering Waves. It is a sentient foreign Echo created by Lucia, who sealed it within the body of Rover into their now-awakened Tacet Mark at the beginning of the game.

Abby is a small cat-like Echo with white fur, brown hands and feet and long ears with earrings that serves as wings. Abby wears a bracelet, a collar and has heterochromatic eyes, with the left eye being blue, while the right eye is orange. Its pupils look like Tacet Marks, while another mark of the same shape decorates Abby's forehead.

As of Version 1.1, the exact identity of Abby is yet to be revealed. Several characters have hinted that Abby is some kind of an Echo, however, it is unlike most Echoes seen in Huanglong, as it is fully sentient, with its own personality, the ability to speak and the power to manifest for prolonged periods of time (however, this seems to consume Abby's energy quickly, and it often needs a prolonged rest or a large amount of food to gain back strength). Apparently, such Echoes also exist in other countries on Solaris-3, but more details about them are unknown.
However, one thing is clear - Abby's existence is strongly intertwined with that of Rover. In its dormant state, Abby was sealed within Rover's Tacet Mark on their hand (similar to a genie sealed within the magic lamp), and it is the entity that Baizhi discovered inside of Rover's body after their arrival in Jinzhou. It seems that Abby's presence grants Rover the unique ability to absorb Echoes of Tacet Discords without the use of Pangu Terminal (these Echoes are likely being absorbed by Abby itself).
It was hinted several times that Abby's full potential rivals that of the Sentinels. During the battle with the emerging Threnodian in Norfall Barrens, Abby was able to contain a powerful blast of energy emitted by the defeated Dreamless and shield Rover and Jiyan from harm. Later, when encountering Sentinel Jué on Mt. Firmament, the Sentinel suggested that Abby might be an entity similar to themselves, even though Jue was not familiar with it.
