Adrian is an NPC in The Black Shores. He can be found repairing a robot, KU-Boku in Tethys Hub during the daytime (06:00 AM - 05:59 PM). However, at night (06.00 PM - 05.59 AM), he can be found talking with Leclerc in Haven of Sprouts

- Adrian: Update failed? Why is this the only robot that's incompatible?
What's wrong with this robot?- Adrian: The components of its control system got an error. I'm repairing it and updating the system.
- KU-Boku: Ku... Ku... Feels bad... Ku...
- It looks uncomfortable.
- Adrian: It can't be. These robots don't feel pain. What you're hearing is just the language module reacting to the repairs.
- Adrian: Their personalities are also functions added by the Tethys System, something that needs regular maintenance.
- Adrian: Upgrading their systems and chips is the best way to improve them.
- Adrian: Trust me, I'm the best engineer here. This robot will be better than ever when I'm done.
- (In Haven of Sprouts at night)
- Leclerc: Adrian, are you planning to upgrade KU-Miki?
- Adrian: Yeah, its system's been acting up since the last update. I think the new component isn't compatible, so I need to make some adjustments.
- Leclerc: But you can't just change things like that. The last time you upgraded KU-Miki, it lost a whole year of memories!
- Adrian:That was a temporary side effect--things like discomfort, memory loss, or cognitive issues can happen sometimes. Once I'm done, everything will be fine.
- Leclerc: But you're interfering with its natural growth. It has its own way of adapting.
- Leclerc: We should guide these little ones based on their development, not just force changes on them.
- Adrian:It's more efficient if we handle the adjustments ourselves to improve their programming.
- Leclerc: Don't you think your approach is a bit too harsh? They hide from you every time they see you.
- Adrian: It's okay. I've got a remote controller to track them down.
- Leclerc: I... I just can't reason with you!
