Areas are parts of the map in a particular region. They are larger than individual subareas, but smaller than entire regions. They include cities, towns, ruins, and geographic areas, and are displayed on the map after zooming in past the area level. The name of the area will appear on the screen when the player enters the area, with a few exceptions.
