A Blake Bloom is the symbol of identity for the members of the Black Shores. Each of them possesses their own Blake Bloom,[1] hence why members are also called 'Bloom Bearers.'

According to Verina, the flower is a type of Remnant plant and contains a very unique kind of Remnant Energy[2].
Shaped by the unique environment of the Black Shores, the rare Remnant plant has since become the region's symbol. Under the influence of the Tacetites, any ordinary plant that takes root in the Black Shores will gradually lose its natural colors.[3]
