Wuthering Waves Wiki

Oh! Hehe... I'm looking forward to our game.

Camellya

Camellya (Chinese: 椿) is a playable Havoc Artificial Resonator in Wuthering Waves. She is a Bloom Bearer of the Black Shores, and handles the combat-oriented germination tests given to new candidates. However, she refuses all sense of responsibility, delighting in satiating her unquenchable thirst for battle and personal amusement. In pursuit of the thrill of a fight, she gleefully abandons the risks to her life and the people around her.

Official Introduction[]

Bloom Bearer from the Black Shores, Camellya is a laid-back character free from shackles, with her personal aroma of "danger."
Intrigued by the belief in fate, she wanders the lands of her own accord, following such a chain of scenarios and its vague guidance.

Trivia[]

Etymology[]

  • Camellia is a genus of flowering plants native to Asia.
    • In Japan, the Japanese camellia's blooming in early spring is said to symbolize resilience. On the other hand, flowers falling off is likened to a "beheaded samurai's head".
  • Due to Camellya's unique Rabelle's Curve pattern, she is currently speculated to be an Artificial Resonator, as indicated in her Forte Examination Report.
  • The name Camellya belonged to a separate character during pre-release. While the name now belongs to this character, the visual appearance of the pre-release Camellya seems to have been instead given to Carlotta.[3]
