Summary

• There are 5 difficulties which must be challenged in order. When starting, players can only choose one resonator from the available roster, including their own resonators and trial resonators. Resonators cannot use their currently equipped Echoes, but instead will be equipped with an Illusive Echo chosen by the player. For more information on Illusive Echoes, see Depths of Illusive Realm/Illusive Echo.
• During the challenge, players must progress through different memory zones (Beginning, Combat, Fierce Struggle, Deathmatch, Training, Unknown, Dreaming, Rest, Calamity, Endgame). For more information on different memory zones, see Depths of Illusive Realm/Difficulties.
• Metaphors and Resonator Upgrades can be obtained through various ways. For more information about this, see Depths of Illusive Realm/Metaphors and Depths of Illusive Realm/Resonators.
• Destructible objects may be found in memory zones, which can contain Dream Fragments or the Strange White Cat.
• If defeated during the challenge, the player will not be able to progress further and will be forced to end the challenge. However, if not defeated, the player may leave the realm and return at the same progress later on.
• When the challenge ends, either by being defeated or completing the Memory of Endgame, the player will receive Memory Points and Illusive Specimens depending on their progress. Memory Points can be used to unlock powerful enhancements in the Thought Evolution, while Illusive Specimens can be used to exchange rewards in the Illusive Store.
• During the challenge, the player may complete achievements in Anomaly Investigation, which will reward them with Astrites

Anomaly Investigation

There are three groups of achievements that player can complete: Echo-related, Difficulty-related and Resonator-related. All achievements will reward players with Astrite.
