Quest Description

In the Battle of the Norfall Barrens, you successfully prevented the hatching of the Ovathrax, sparing Jinzhou from disaster. Yet, beneath the veneer of peace, the shadow of war still lingers...

(Talk to Yhan)

Yhan: Hello there. (Rover).

Yhan: It's been a while. You came here as a rookie, and now you're Jinzhou's hero. Looks like the battle at Norfall Barrens really honed your skills.

Valentina: Ah, so you're (Rover). I've heard a lot about you from Encore and Aalto—the Threnodian Killer.

Valentina: Are you here for the Infinite Battle Simulation? Maybe you can help us test out the device's limits.

Infinite Battle Simulation?

Come again?

Valentina: The Black Shores has a hologram projector called the "Infinite Reality Sandbox."

Valentina: The Infinite Battle Simulation is a type of simulation training based on it.

Valentina: Actually, the entire thing was made possible because of you.

Wait. Me...?

Valentina: That's right. To some extent, you helped pilot this joint venture between the Black Shores and Jinzhou.

Gotta do everything, I guess.

Valentina: …Hah, I like your spirit. No wonder Aalto says you're a funny person.

Valentina: After the Battle of Norfall Barrens, Tethys issued a new warning based on the data from the battlefield Resonance Beacons and those you provided Aalto and Encore.

Valentina: Although you managed to halt the Ovathrax's hatching, its residual frequencies are still spreading from Norfall Barrens.

Valentina: As for the residual frequencies, they carry the Threnodian's Forte and its memories of combat. Newborn TDs under their influence start to undergo some form of... "evolution."

Valentina: We just can't seem to catch a break when it comes to the Threnodian.

Sounds pretty serious...

Jinzhou's under a new threat...

Yhan: Don't stress over it, (Rover). The people of Jinzhou have weathered their share of crises and are prepared for whatever comes next.

Yhan: Valentina and the Black Shores team picked up the latest TD samples from Huaxu Academy just as the warning came through.

Yhan: Thanks to the support from the Black Shores and Huaxu Academy, we managed to develop the "Infinite Battle Simulation" you see before you.

Yhan: Even the Jinzhou Magistrate has greatly appreciated its ability to project the newly evolved TDs into reality. This can help Jinzhou better prepare for the dangers ahead.

Yhan: Which is why I am here with the Midnight Rangers elites under orders from the City Hall.

Yhan: The troops have trained quite a bit with the device, and the results went pretty well. As a regular at the Simulation Training, I'm sure you wouldn't want to miss out on the fun.

Count me in!

Valentina: Excellent. I've always wanted to see the Threnodian Killer in action with my own eyes.

Where there's danger, there's gain.

Valentina: Couldn't have said it better myself. Although, it cuts both ways.

Yhan: Well, (Rover), let's dive in. There are some new features added to the simulation, so do take it slowly.
