Jinzhou is situated on the northern border of Huanglong, nestled within the expanse of a great lake, embraced by waters on three sides and cradled by mountains on the fourth. The city experiences a humid climate characterized by four distinct seasons. Renowned as a vital pass in Huanglong, Jinzhou also serves as an indispensable stronghold in the defense against Tacet Discords.

It is a fortified city on the frontier that stands guard against the looming Tacet Discord crisis, founded by the Rover during their previous awakening. Jinzhou is the most recent city established in Huanglong[1], and the only city in Outer Huanglong. It lies on the southeastern border of Huanglong and is the first land-based port for all foreign ships entering the nation[2]. It is currently governed by the Magistrate Jinhsi and the Sentinel Jué who guides her. According to Chixia and Sanhua, it is also neither the biggest nor the most populated of the seven major cities. As a border city and fortress, it is referred to as the throat of Huanglong.
