Dialogue[]
- Xunjing: Ah, you must be the Rover!
- You know of me?
- And you are...?
- Xunjing: Let me introduce myself. I'm Xunjing, an editor for Wutherium Geographic.
- Xunjing: World travels fast at the Pioneer Association. I heard you're the hero of Jinzhou and Hongzhen. If I wasn't working for a geography magazine, I'd natch the chance to feature you in a heartbeat...
- Xunjing: Haha... Sorry, occupational habit. Ahem, speaking of which, I'm in the middle of a career crisis.
- What kind of crisis?
- Xunjing: Well, um... our magazine's cooking up something special abotu Hongzhen's cultural scene.
- Xunjing: Unfortunately, we're staring down the barrel of the deadline, and we're missing a few crucial snaps in our stack...
- Xunjing: If I mess this up, the editor-in-chief will have my head!
- Xunjing: I hate to admit it, but I'm not exactly a pro with a camera, despite running the photography column.
- Xunjing: And it's too late to call in a photographer from Jinzhou now. Say, you've got a knack for photography too, don't you?
- I'm only an amateur.
- Xunjing: Ha! You're just as modest as they say you are.
- I'm actually a professional.
- Xunjing: Ha! That is reassuring.
- Xunjing: In that case, if you have time... Could you take a few photos for me? Just three, four shots.
- No problem.
- Xunjing: Thank you! You'll be doing me a great service.
- Xunjing: Oh, right, mind if I accompany you? I could use a bit of wander myself, you know, just in case a bolt of inspiration decides to pay me a visit!
- Xunjing: Hongzhen is famous for its Sagaci Springs. Let's go take some photos of the hot springs.
- (Head to the spring beside Spring's Taste)
- Xunjing: Here we are! Let's look for the perfect spot...
- Xunjing: Oh, look at that ancient tree! Such a picturesque sight! Come, let's capture it!
- (Shoot a photo of the ancient tree beside the spring)
- Xunjing: A quaint hot spring, nestled under the shade of an ancient tree... The setting is perfect!
- Xunjing: While the world changes around us, Hongzhen's timeless traditions live on.
- Xunjing: Here, people soak in the same springs their ancestors did, washing away their worries with the same clear waters.
- Xunjing: It is... quite special.
- Xunjing: Now, back to business... I spotted some peculiar rings on the mountains across the gate. Let's capture them.
- (Head to the photo spot at the gate)
- Xunjing: Wow... Quite the spectacle. I wonder what these massive rings are for. Could they be... ancient ceremonial sites of Hongzhen's forebears?
- Xunjing: No... they might be relics from the Pre-Lament era. Hmm... Perhaps colossal colliders or planetary engines? Anyway, let's snap a picture.
- (Shoot a photo of the strange ring-like structures)
- Xunjing: Let me have a look... Hm, this turned out pretty good. Maybe we'll feature it in an "Explore Hongzhen" column. Already got the headline: "The Mountain Town's Unsolved Riddle."
- Xunjing: But let's include the peaks flanking the rings in our shot. That'll give a sense of how enormous and awa-inspiring they are.
- Xunjing: See any good spots nearby?
- (Head to the photo spot at the slope)
- Xunjing: Oh, perfect! That's the angle we want! This shot will be a winner.
- Xunjing: Stand over here to take it!
- (Shoot a photo of the strange loop structure)
- Xunjing: Hmm... Can we get a panoramic view of the whole of Hongzhen from here?
- Xunjing: Right! Let's snap an overhead shot of Hongzhen. Our special edition still needs a cover photo, and this will give readers a wonderful perspective of the town.
- Xunjing: Because you know, to most folks, Hongzhen is still an enigmatic, secluded place.
- (Shoot a birdseye view of Hongzhen)
- Xunjing: From up here, every part of the town is visible. Ancient relics and market stalls dot the landscape, connected by winding footpaths.
- Xunjing: What's surprising is, despite the ancient lore painting Hongzhen as an isolated paradise, what I see is a vibrant, bustling community.
- (Talk to Xunjing)
- Xunjing: That about does it. I can't thank you enough for these wonderful pictures!
- Will I be paid?
- Xunjing: Yes, yes, I will arrange payment as soon as I can!
- A pleasure.
- Xunjing: But I practically dragged you all over Hongzhen for those photos, didn't I?
- Xunjing: Just gotta deliver these photos before the deadline. Then it's onto the nitty gritty—editing, typesetting, and printing...
- Xunjing: ...Just thinking about all that work makes me depressed.
- Xunjing: The folks in Hongzhen seem to have it easy. No tyrannical editors breathing down their necks with deadlines every day. They can just relax and enjoy that gorgeous mountain view every day.
- Xunjing: I'm tempted to quit and move to Hongzhen myself...
- Sounds like a good idea.
- Xunjing: Ha! Just kidding. Our editor-in-chief is scarier than a TD Outbreak. If anyone even thinks about quitting, they'd be torn apart.
- Maybe things aren't as good as they look.
- Xunjing: You're right. Grass isn't always greener on the other side, huh? Sigh...
- Xunjing: Okay, thanks for everything. I better get back to the office. Until next time, Rover.
