Liuqin is a researcher of medicines working at Huaxu Academy in Jinzhou, Huanglong. He is the brother of Koko.

Quests and Events[]

(First time meeting): Liuqin: Should I join Mr. Mortefi's project? ...Koko, would you support my decision?; Liuqin: Ah, you must be the Rover. What can I do for you?; : Mortefi's project?; Liuqin: Koko is my little sister, and she's currently the acting manager of Shifang Pharmacy.; Liuqin: Yesterday, Mr. Mortefi invited me to join one of his projects.; Liuqin: But joining would mean spending even less time with Koko.; : Why is this project so appealing to you?; Liuqin: I don't want to pass up this chance. It's more than just a project. Being able to working [sic] alongside Mr. Mortefi is an honor itself.; Liuqin: He's probably the most respected researcher here, just behind our Principal Investigator, Mr. Xiangli Yao.; Liuqin: He's great at fending off unreasonable client demands. He rejected over 40 of them in his first week alone!; Liuqin: He even treats us to afternoon tea. He really looks out for us.; : Who's more talented than this Mortefi?; Liuqin: Mortefi's been trying to outdo him in research, but it's not easy. Xiangli is just... built different.; Liuqin: About Mr. Xiangli... You'll see what I mean when you meet him.

(Outdoor 6PM-12AM): Liuqin: Hmm... the medicine seems to be working better this time.; : Is he sick?; Liuqin: Yes, this is my patient, Niu. He's got a strange illness, and the usual meds don't work on him.; Liuqin: So I decided to try a new medicine, hoping it'll do the trick.

(Indoor 1AM-9AM): Liuqin: Rover, is that you? You're still up at this hour?; Liuqin: You gotta get more sleep, or you'll end up like us, unable to sleep even when you want to.; : Have you been busy lately?; Liuqin: We're pretty much always busy.; Liuqin: You know what? Koko might actually be right. I've seriously considered quitting my job to join her, running the pharmacy.; Liuqin: But after mulling it over, I still preferred to stay and do research.; Liuqin: Our current medicines can handle most diseases.; Liuqin: However, with the discovery of more diseases and the spread of new treatments, we're also facing an increasing number of pathogens.; Liuqin: So, meds gotta stay up to date, and my job is to give more powerful tools to those battling diseases.
