Phrolova
Phrolova (Chinese: 弗洛洛) is a playable Havoc Mutant Resonator in Wuthering Waves. She is a particularly powerful Resonator and a former Overseer of the Fractsidus. Her forte can manipulate and transfigure the frequencies of humans, Echoes, and Tacet Discords alike.
A life filled with unexpected suffering, grief, and betrayal led this former musician to align with the Fractsidus, in which she seeks to rekindle a past from which she was the sole survivor. After working with the Fractsidus for a long time, she made a promise with the leader to complete one final task. Following its completion, she left the organization to find her own path.
After completing Main Quest Dreamcatchers in the Secret Gardens in Chapter II: Act VII, she can be found in the Lost Beyond.

Phrolova, a Fractsidus Overseer walking the fine line between life and death, an uncanny, deadly conductor.
A silent wave of her baton is enough to attune the very frequencies of being and conduct the symphonies of "souls." The music of hers can sculpt a better world or, just as easily, summon a legion to wreak havoc.[3]
The silent and somber Overseer of the Fractsidus, Phrolova carries an endless sadness that envelops everyone around her.

- Phrolova has recurring thematical ties to death and the underworld.
- The lycoris or red spider lily is a flower that symbolizes death and the afterlife, especially in Japan and China.
- Hecate, the Tacet Discord she summons and her closest companion, is described as a three-faced Witch of the Underworld from a Sonoro Sphere where all decaying frequencies converge, known as the "Beyond" or "Lost Beyond". Hecate is a goddess from Greek mythology associated with magic, witchcraft, and fittingly, with crossroads, similar to Phrolova's association with the Lost Beyond.
- As of Chapter II's climax, Phrolova was implied to represent the true identity of The Shepherd, since she was known to manipulate Echoes and Tacet Discords alike, and possibly sacrificing anyone to become Tacet Discords.

- "Phrolova" is a name likely derived from "Frol", a Russian patronymic given name meaning "wise man", and "-ova", signifying "belonging to". This makes Phrolova's name mean "daughter of Frol" or "daughter of the wise man".
- Specifically, "wise man" may be a reference to the Journey of the Magi, a 1927 poem by T.S. Eliot told from the perspective of the three wise men.
