The Pioneer Association is an organization that provides players rewards for their Exploration Progress.
History[]
The Pioneer Association was founded before the Lament, and is a prestigious organization in science and education. Previously known as the Universal Geographic Society, their primary goal is to explore and understand the world, as well as provide graphic documentation that humanity is moving towards a better future. [1] They collaborate with scientists, photographers, and journalists to document the world's wonders after the Ebb Tide.
The organization has a deep history, and new members are required to participate in regular 'Fireside Chats' to learn and share it with each other. Among the more notable stories is that of the Icebreakers, members who go expeditions to survey distant and dangerous places, and were the first to witness many powerful Tacet Discords. [2]
They have made countless discoveries and have amassed a global audience through the release of magazines, maps, books, and entertainment, and interactive media.
