Quest Description

The Pioneer Association is offering generous prizes for "Hsin's Fortuity", among them is the surprise jackpot, and Changli manages to draw it. To make things more dramatic, the prize is a treasure map about a Court of Savantae legacy...

I'm watching these people try their luck in the lucky draw.; Aren't you going to give it a go?; Changli: I guess it wouldn't hurt to give it a try.; Changli walks over to the stall and casually spins the wheel.; Xianchen: ...And there it is. Lady Changli wins again. Just like last year, no, just like those every other time you participated in the draw.; Did you achieve that with strategy?; Changli: Not really... It's probably just luck. This draw's results are solely based on chance, making it impossible for even the most attentive strategy to predict.; Xianchen: Wait, Lady Changli! I just checked the list. Looks like you've won the one and only surprise grand prize of this year's Moonlit Fair!; Surprise grand prize...?; One and only...?; Xianchen: That's right. Well, I'd say... it's more of a treasure map? Or clues to the actual prize?; Changli: ...Is that so?; Xianchen: Just some context: our Pioneer Association team found this mysterious platform near Jinzhou.; Xianchen: It was sealed with intricate puzzles, probably the work of the elusive Court of Savantae. We tried everything, but not even one puzzle budged.; Xianchen: Then, someone joked about relying on luck to solve it.; So you took that joke seriously.; Xianchen: Yup. I realized this was the perfect candidate for Hsin's Fortuity grand prize. Only someone with ridiculous luck could win it.; Xianchen: And who knows? Changli: ...Hmm, these mechanisms remind me of the Court of Savantae's technique.

Changli: Interesting. They used overlapping layers instead of their usual designs.

Changli: It has four mechanisms that need to be solved in the right order within time limit.

And if we fail?

Changli: In the worst case, this platform could trigger its self-destruct mechanism and things might not look so good for us...

Changli: Just kidding. I bet the Pioneer Association have attempted to solve this puzzle numerous times.

Changli: If they knew there was a fail-safe, they wouldn't have made finding this place a prize.

Changli: I guess it will just revert to its initial state.

Well, that makes things easier. Let's test the combinations one by one.

Since you've managed to make it this far, then it means that you're just one step away from my deepest secrets. "Oh, the horror! My deepest secrets! I must not let that happen!"
Gotcha didn't I? Well, quite the opposite! These challenges are placed here specifically designed for curious minds such as yourselves! Enjoy the thrill of these puzzles to the fullest and uncover the treasure I've hidden within!
Oh, goodness. I almost forgot to give you a bit of a hint. Don't want to have you test out each one individually. No, no, that won't do. Now, time for everyone's favorite, the hints:
The mechanisms are marked in four colors: red, green, blue, and yellow. They are numbered one to four based on the order in which they are supposed to be activated. Only one of the following hints is true, study them wisely:
(1) Mechanism No. 1 is red.
(2) Mechanism No. 2 is purple.
(3) Red and green cannot be activated back to back.
(4) Mechanisms No. 1 & 4 are neither blue nor purple.
Rather simple, right? Better hop to it then! But do keep in mind, that you've only got five minutes to solve this puzzle! Muahahaha!
