Rover
Rover is a multi-attribute Resonator and is the main protagonist of Wuthering Waves.
Awakened with an unknown past, Rover is an Arbiter who embarks on a journey to uncover the truth to regain their lost memories. As secrets are unveiled, they establish deeper connections with the world.
In Version 1.1, after battling the Sentinel of Jinzhou, Jué revealed that Rover is not only its arbiter but also its former master. Jué explained that Rover played a crucial role in founding Jinzhou city and stood by its side during its establishment, entrusting him with the task of safeguarding the city's prosperity.
Jué recounted that Rover once declared an intention to actively participate in history, make significant choices, and witness the development of civilizations.
Additionally, the Sentinel stated that its entire existence is subject to Rover's approval, and that its 'all-knowing' knowledge was bestowed by Rover. Consequently, he cannot answer any questions about how Rover lost their memory or who Rover truly is.
