Tactical Hologram: Lady of the Sea is one of the Tactical Hologram Challenges available in Tactical Hologram: Phantom Pain, based off the Lady of the Sea Lady of the Sea.

This enemy has higher RES against Aero DMG.

A fallen one adrift in the frigid currents, a ruptured remnant in which the Threnodian's residual energy resides.

She pierced her own heart and fell into the ocean. But fate, relentless as the whirlpools below, dragged her even deeper. Now, her creator has claimed this failed vessel, lying in wait beneath the waves to devour the entire world.

[Tide Swell]: Obtaining a Shield increases the shielded Resonator's ATK by 30% and decreases their DMG taken by 30% for 3s.

[Death's Dance]: 3 minutes after the battle begins, the ATK of Resonators will increase by 10% every 10s, up to 100%. The DMG taken by Resonators will also increase by 10% every 10s, with no stacking limit. All Resonators in the team will lose 10% of their Max HP every 2s until they are left with 20% HP.

Enemy Moveset[]

Opening Attack[]

Upon being summoned, the Lady of the Sea slashes at the player once with her tail, before flying in the air with a loop before a performing a second tail sweep with a much wider radius.

Cue to Dodge
While there is no direct cue to dodge, performing a dodge as soon as the fight begins allows the player a better chance at avoiding the first swipe. When the Lady of the Sea is about to perform the second swipe, a large, bright blue flash will appear on her tail at the peak of the spinning loop, which disperses into a blue circle.

Upon being summoned, the Lady of the Sea flails her body on the ground before forming a large puddle of water around herself, which then explodes following a short delay.

Cue to Dodge
A blue star forms around the Lady of the Sea's head which grows increasingly brighter the closer she gets to detonating the puddle. The puddle glows brighter blue, before exploding as indicated when the star around her head disperses into a circle.

Chain Attack 1[]

  1. The Lady of the Sea briefly loops in the air and slashes at the player with her right hand.
  2. She then summons a puddle of dark water under the player, which after a brief moment glows white before exploding.
  3. Finally, she finishes the attack by performing two consecutive claw slashes from her right and left.
Cue to Dodge
  • A bright flash appears on her right hand while she flies in the air, before collapsing into a circle before commencing the first slash.
  • Dodge the moment you see the water puddle begin glowing white before it explodes.
  • When performing her two final slashes, a small yellow circle appears on whichever hand she will slash the player from.

  1. The Lady of the Sea briefly loops in the air and slashes at the player with her right hand.
  2. She then summons a large puddle of dark water with a smaller circle in the middle. This circle flashes red, followed by the large puddle glowing white and exploding, before the small circle disappears and summons two Tidestorms. These Tidestorms revolve around each other twice before collapsing and disappearing at the point they were summoned. The Tidestorms launch the player into the air upon hitting them.
  3. Finally, she finishes the attack by performing two consecutive claw slashes from her right and left.
Cue to Dodge
  • A bright flash appears on her right hand while she flies in the air, before collapsing into a circle before commencing the first slash.
  • A red circle appears in the center of the water puddle before it unleashes Tidestorms, before the water puddle glows white and explodes.
  • When performing her two final slashes, a small yellow circle appears on whichever hand she will slash the player from.

Double Tail Sweep[]

The Lady of the Sea crouches low to the ground before performing a spinning sweep with her tail. Afterwards, she glides in an arc above the player in a loop and summons 5 stationary water bolts from her tail, which are then shot at the player following a brief delay. Upon reaching the end of the arc, she performs a second spinning tail sweep with a wider radius.

The Lady of the Sea's tail flashes blue before she uses the first tail sweep. While in the air, another bright flash appears on her tail before collapsing into a circle when she performs the final tail sweep. You might need to dodge twice to avoid the final tail sweep and the rest of the water bolts.

Double Somersault[]

The Lady of the Sea slides away from the player before performing a back flip to launch the player upwards with her tail. While in the air, she flips a second time before following up with a second somersault after a brief moment before lowering herself onto the ground. If the player is launched by the first strike, they will be struck by the second strike.

A bright white flash appears on the Lady of the Sea's tail each time she is about to perform her tail strikes.

Blightwater Volley[]

The Lady of the Sea slides backwards from the player before forming a pattern of 12 explosive water bolts around herself: five at each of her left and right sides, and two directly above herself, before hurling them at the player.

Dodge Counterattack

The water bolts will be sent at the player the moment the Lady of the Sea flaps her wings. The best strategy involves dodging towards the Lady of the Sea to decrease the number of exploding orbs the player will need to dodge.

Dark Hurricane[]

This attack is performed once the Lady of the Sea's health is depleted to below 50%, or once 2 minutes and 30 seconds have passed.

The Lady of the Sea flies to the center of the arena before becoming cloaked in a bright blue aura, reducing the damage she takes during the attack. She then flies in a series of quick loops around the arena while cloaking it inside of a massive water vortex, before proceeding to perform the following attacks.

  1. An orb of dark water appears above the center of the arena, producing three sets of water waves that travel along the ground: the first set containing three waves, while the last two producing two waves.
  2. As the Lady of the Sea flies in loops and approaches the dark water orb, she will produce 14 water bolts from her tail. These bolts initially hover in place before being fired directly at the player.
  3. Once all of the bolts are sent out, the Lady of the Sea compresses the dark orb into a bright blue diamond, darkening the screen. As this occurs, a thin white circle appears in the center of the arena before expanding to the edges. The diamond shrinks before releasing a colossal explosion in a massive radius from the center of the arena.
  4. Afterwards, a blue circle briefly appears below the Lady of the Sea, before she falls onto the floor of the arena and rests for 5 seconds.

After this attack is performed, six massive Tidestorms are summoned from the center of the arena. These Tidestorms expand outward from the center, to the outer edges of the arena, and back to the middle, before disappearing after finishing six rotations.
