Terminal is a device used by Resonators. Each Terminal has various functions that aid Resonators in exploration, navigation and collection in Solaris-3. Terminals vary in appearance and function depending on the nation, as can be visually seen in the difference between the Terminals of Resonators from Huanglong, Rinascita and The Black Shores. The Rover carries a unique version of the Terminal that can be upgraded.
Functions[]
The primary function of the Terminal is to collect and record Reverberations. These Reverberations are turned into Echoes by the Terminal, which can then be directed as needed. The Data Bank module of the Terminal allows Resonators to replicate the combat abilities of these Echoes in battle. Additionally, some Echoes enable Resonators to briefly transform into the shapes of the Tacet Discords that are stored.
It also has a Utility module, with features such as Grapple, Sensor, and Levitator.
Each Terminal carries a unique Terminal ID which allows the Rover to unlock portions of the Map via Huanglong's Nexus Towers and Rinascita's Genesis Nexus.
Pangu Terminal[]

The Pangu Terminal unique to Huanglong
The Pangu Terminal is unique to the nation of Huanglong and is studied by the Huaxu Academy of Jinzhou. The Rover's Terminal is currently configured to the upgrades from this iteration of the Terminal.
This terminal features a gourd-shaped design with a chrome finish. Its body is adorned with various design elements in gold, including concentric waves at its base and a singular white motif reminiscent of a loong.
In Jinzhou, the Utility Function of the Terminal has upgraded modules with regards to security and communication. An example of such module is used for Access Pass Authorization, upgraded by Sanhua. This contains the contact information for all public services, such as Patrol Stations, and provides unlimited access to all regions in Jinzhou.
