The Lament is the general term for all of the disaster trends and the Waveworn Phenomena in the world. Over the past 10,000 years, a total of five global occurrences and over 300,000 regional occurrences of the Lament have been observed.
Since the Lament, exploration beyond had halted due to the warping of the laws of physics. Yet, many scholars still yearned to traverse the skies again and explore interstellar space.[1]
Many remember the time when everything started to change, it started from the first Lament, and has never ended since.
