Quest Description

Jiu is supposed to be at the academy, but he appears troubled by something. Check out what happened to him.

Jiu: Oh, I wish I could grow up faster, but just going to school isn't enough...

What are you doing?

Jiu: I'm trying my best to grow up quickly!

Jiu: All we do in school is read textbooks, but that doesn't really help. I want to learn something useful, so I can help my dad. That's why I'm here!

Does your family know?

Jiu: I don't know... I made this decision on my own. I... I really want to help my family!

Rover: Jiu? That name sounds familiar.

Rover: Oh, he could be Sixi's son.

Rover: Let's go find him and talk.

(Talk to Jiu again): Jiu: What are you doing?

(Talk to Wulü): Wulü: Hello, do you need something?; About Jiu...; Wulü: Ah, Jiu, he's Sixi's son. That man works at the mine and probably doesn't have much time to take care of him.; Wulü: Lately, I've seen Jiu wandering around looking for a job to do. I was thinking of having a little chat with him.; Wulü: You might want to tell Sixi about this if you meet him.

(Talk to Sixi): Sixi: What's wrong? Do you need any help?; You are Sixi, right?; Sixi: Yes, what is it?; About Jiu...; You tell Sixi about Jiu's situation.

Sixi: Hmm? Jiu is skipping school?

Sixi: Thank you for the updates. I'll go back and check on him right away!

Sixi quickly ran towards the city.

(Return to the Resonance Nexus): Sixi: What do I always tell you, hmm? Why are you skipping school?; Jiu: I, I...; Jiu: I'm not skippin school! I just want to learn something not taught in the classroom...; Sixi: What do you mean by that? Explain yourself.; Jiu: It's just... something not in a textbook, something that'll teach me how I can help you, Dad!; Jiu: You're always so busy and don't have time for me, so I want to help you...; Sixi: You can help me by attending your classes, you know!; Sixi: They're supposed to be teaching you practical life skills. After the conversation, Sixi took Jiu and left.
